About The Junkluggers™ of Gainesville, Virginia

Family Owned and Operated

Here at The Junkluggers of Gainesville, Virginia, family values and a commitment to sustainability drive every aspect of our business. As a small, family-owned operation, our owner, Mark, and his wife, Ashley, are deeply involved in the day-to-day workings of our company. You'll often catch glimpses of their “little luggers” too, as family is at the heart of what we do. Additionally, our full team consists of 12 luggers and five trucks, plus our Remix Market Manager, Operations Manager (Austin Kretsch), and Business Development Manager (Megan Hicks), each contributing their expertise to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

At The Junkluggers, we're not just about removing unwanted items; we're on a mission to make a positive impact on the environment. Our partnership with Remix Market in Warrenton, VA, sets us apart from the rest. Other companies may claim to donate, but when traditional donation centers turn them away, they go to the landfill. Instead, we bring everything back to Remix, where we actively donate, recycle, and upcycle. It's not just about getting rid of junk; it's about creating a sustainable future for our community and beyond. Join us in making a difference, one lugged item at a time.

Our Charity Partners

Community is at the heart of The Junkluggers of Gainesville, Virginia, and our commitment goes beyond just decluttering homes. We take pride in our partnerships with two remarkable charity organizations, the Mikey's Way Foundation and House of Mercy.

The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation: The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation (SJGF) is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization. SJGF was founded by Sara Knight in honor of Sara and Jason Knight’s daughter Julia, who passed away in 2013 due to complications of a rare disease called I-cell. Despite the storms she faced, Julia learned how to “Dance In The Rain.” Their mission is to bless, celebrate, and love children who are seriously ill, have special needs, or are currently facing a medical crisis, helping everyone to dance in the rain.

House of Mercy: House of Mercy is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit dedicated to feeding, clothing, educating, and praying for those in need, thus demonstrating God's unlimited love and mercy for those in our community.
